I was glad to see the Indians sign Jim Thome he was a long time Cleveland Indians player through all of the great teams of the 90's. He was not signed just to retire he has been a helping addition to the Indians this year and has them in position to still be in the off season.
"Jim is a Hall of Fame-caliber player and person," Indians general manager Chris Antonetti said. "We're thrilled to welcome Jim and his family back to Cleveland."

Brandon - Congratulation to Jim Thome for hitting and passing the 600 home run.
Brandon: What a great video about Jim Thome. What an incredible player. Being an Indians fan, I already knew quite a bit about him, but after watching this entire video all the way... I like him even more. I loved the part where he went over to the line of construction workers in Philadelphia and shook hands with them. Yep... a blue-collar kinda guy.
I am so pleased that he is back in Cleveland. Thanks so much for the post.
