Stars Tuesday at 9pm on Nat Geo.
This is what the promo says for the show.
Doomsday Preppers explores the lives of otherwise ordinary Americans who are preparing for the end of the world as we know it. Unique in their beliefs, motivations, and strategies, preppers will go to whatever lengths they can to make sure they are prepared for any of life’s uncertainties. And with our expert’s assessment, they will find out their chances of survival if their worst fears become a reality.
My question is does this help anything or anyone to have these types of shows on they do nothing but help to feed people's anxiety.
Is this pandering? Or is there anything good that NatGeo thinks can come out of this show, like the self sustaining idea's? Or is this just another waste of time on TV?

Amazing video. I can't even imagine eating the tilapia every day.... and the shake made from the green goop! Thank you for sharing!
I agree that was the part that stuck out to me eating the green goop. It was interesting watching what they have set up. I hope there is something worthwhile out of the series and not just a play on the doomsdayer's
